Udder Love is a family-owned business with a purpose. We scoop more than 16 delicious flavors of premium ice cream—always with dairy-free options—into house-made waffle cones in Liberty Hill, TX. Located inside Mainstreet Social, Udder Love is not only a place to get delicious ice cream but to hang out with family and friends, play games, and reconnect.
Our Vision
When James and Lisa Candido had their third child, Tyler (who has Down syndrome), in 2010, they knew their journey of raising him would be different. They immediately started dreaming about how Tyler's adult life would be.
Inclusive college programs for people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities are popping up all over the country. There are now more than 260 programs across the country. The Candidos expect that Tyler will attend a college program and they dream of providing him and others with Down syndrome with meaningful work opportunities.
Currently, only 44 percent of people with intellectual disabilities in the United States are in the workforce. Udder Love was created with that purpose—to make a difference. To create an inclusive and supportive work environment for Tyler and others with Down syndrome. Thank you for your support!
